Become a certified PADI scuba diver in Perth!

The PADI Open Water Course in Perth is designed to help you discover the underwater world and become a safe diver. The scuba diving course takes place over 3 days, includes a day of pool training,4 ocean dives and the PADI e-learning course. Day 1 is in the pool in Rockingham for your confined water dives. Day 2 and 3 we will choose the best location depending on the weather on the day. If you join us for the Premium course, the last day we meet at Fremantle before boarding our dive vessel.

The PADI certification is an awesome experience where you are going to learn skills that you will use for many years. During the pool session, you learn how to set up and maintain your dive gear, including how to prepare your mask, wetsuit and fins. You will then learn several skills in the shallow water, like swimming with your gear or exchanging air with your buddy. Because we only take small groups, you get plenty of 1-to-1 time with your instructor to learn those skills and you do not waste time waiting for a big group!

The dives, that follow the pool session, are there for you to practice those important skills and get comfortable underwater. You will surprised how natural it gets after only a few dives!

The best part of learning to scuba dive in Perth is diving off Rottnest Island. We take time to explore the underwater world, look at fish and talk about what you have seen. Rottnest Island offers a beautiful underwater playground. There is caves, canyon and mountain pinnacles underwater that you would never have imagine. You can see the gorgeous Western Blue Devil, the funny damsel fish and plenty of other sea creatures.

At the end of our Perth PADI dive course, you will be able to:

  • Dive independently with a buddy
  • Go no deeper than 18m
  • Respond to any accident happening during a dive
  • Control your buoyancy to optimize your experience

Bucket List Diver is offering 3 different type of PADI Open Water Course to adapt to your schedule and budget.

Our Premium Open Water Course includes the final day at Rottnest Island where you will do your final two dives with your instructor in the pristine water of the marine park!

Our Standard Open Water course is our cheap open water course. You still get the full PADI ticket, but all the dives will be from the shore. It is the perfect course if you are on a budget or if you are getting ready for your Exmouth Holidays!

Our 1-on-1 course will cater for your tight schedule. We will work with you to deliver the most adapted course for you while giving you 100% of the instructor attention.
